About
Bernie Daleo began his settlement planning career with The James Street Group in 2000. Since then, he has grown to become one of the nation’s most accomplished settlement planners, working on both mass tort settlement resolution and catastrophic single event cases. Prior to his work as a settlement consultant, Bernie worked as an insurance consultant, where he honed his expert knowledge of the insurance industry.
Bernie’s settlement planning expertise has been utilized in a number of high-profile mass tort litigations, including Phen Phen, Paxil, BP Texas City Refinery explosion, BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, ExxonMobil Refinery explosion, and the Ford/Firestone rollover cases. Regardless of whether the case involves hundreds of claimants or just one, Bernie’s dedication to meeting the needs of injured claimants and their families is evident in all he does. His attorney clients count him as a trusted advisor who will guide their clients through many ins and outs of structured settlements and the settlement planning process.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas, Bernie currently resides there with his wife, Stephanie, and their four children, Giuliana, Tripp, Mary Olivia, and Avery. He is a graduate of Lamar University, where he also served on the Lamar University Alumni Advisory Board. Bernie and his family are members of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Beaumont. He volunteers for and has served on the board of many civic organizations and has served as President of the Neches River Festival.
